DB Supporting NELDA
|
NELDA’s work includes identifying and supporting children in Lancashire. They use computerised assessments to diagnose children in schools, and run training sessions to help staff identify children with dyslexia. After being identified, children can work in a Family Literacy Action Group (FLAG). These children share learning experiences with a parent or grandparent. They use a multi-sensory touch-typing programme (Touch Type Read and Spell) which is suitable for both children and adults. |
